Kitten Veterinary Service

CountrySide Veterinary Services consists of a large team of experienced veterinarians, technicians, and administrative staff. At CountrySide, we are fully committed to our relationship with our clients and their pets. During the first 6-8 weeks of your kitten’s life, we recommend bringing them in for a physical examination, and any necessary vaccinations. The sooner they become acquainted with our staff, the easier future visits will be for both you and them.

Please contact our staff at (920) 968-3322 or make your appointment online. For your convenience, our staff can also travel to your location to examine your kitten. Please see all of our kitten veterinary services below:

Kitten Spaying & Neutering

Our veterinarians also provide kitten spaying and neutering services. During your kitten’s first several exams, we will discuss the appropriate age to bring them in to be spayed or neutered. Prior to us performing the procedure, we will be happy to answer any questions or concerns you may have.

There are many health and behavioral benefits to spaying or neutering your kitten. In the case of a female, some of the benefits include a decreased change of reproductive or mammary cancer, as well as a lessened chance of uterine infection (pyometra), or an unwanted pregnancy.

Kitten Vaccinations

In addition to spaying and neutering, we also provide kitten vaccinations to ensure your cat stays healthy through to older adulthood. Vaccinations for your kitten help to prevent common feline illnesses. These include rhinotracheitis, calicivirus, panleukopenia, rabies, and feline leukemia, among others. You should always discuss with your veterinarian the timing and preexisting medical conditions of your kitten prior to a vaccination. Our staff will provide the best recommendations before scheduling an appointment for the vaccination date.

Kitten Veterinarians in Appleton

CountrySide’s team, in Appleton, serves the entire Fox Valley community. Our feline health services help to prevent future health risks that will affect your kitten. We recommend bringing your kitten in annually for a checkup. During these exams, we’ll discuss any necessary preventative vaccinations or medications to help improve your kitten’s health. The sooner our staff can uncover any issues, the better their health will be as they mature into an adult cat.

Our goal is to ensure that your kitten is truly happy and healthy. Is their behavior normal? Have they developed any worrying symptoms? Have they lost weight? Are they constantly crying? Do they have increased body temperature? Are they experiencing diarrhea or vomiting? These symptoms might be signs your kitten needs to see a vet. We can treat common health issues in your kitten. These might include diarrhea, dehydration/constipation, upper respiratory infections (URI), or parasites.

Our staff truly cares about the health of your pet, and we treat each pet like family. To schedule an appointment for your kitten, please contact us today at (920) 968-3322, and our veterinary team will be happy to help you.
