Dr. Denise Stempa
Dr. Denise Stempa has been practicing with Countryside Veterinary Services since she graduated for the University of Wisconsin School of Veterinary Medicine in 2004. She became an owner in 2008.
Dr. Stempa was born and raised on a dairy farm in Southeastern WI. Although she is not a native of this area, she certainly calls The Fox Valley area her home after living here for over 10 years. She is passionate about her job and loves the continuous challenges of both companion animal medicine and large animal medicine. The ability to tackle complex medical and surgical cases in the clinic one day, and go out to a local dairy, deer or hobby farm the next day and tackle another whole set of challenges has always been intriguing to her. After so many years of college and practice, she hopes never to stop learning and challenging herself.
Personally, Dr. Denise is very busy. She is married to Christopher Stempa and together they have 3 busy children; Carsyn, Easton and Bryce. They have one French bulldog, Dave, a Brussels Griffon, Ester, and two crazy cats, Eddie and Pearl. Her other interests have always revolved around personal and physical challenges, gardening/landscaping in her yard, and occasionally, she tries to escape into a good book. She tries to live by the words “everything in moderation,” but family and veterinary medicine take up the majority of her time.
