Dr. Sarah Diederich
Dr. Sarah Diederich grew up in Menomonee Falls, WI. She received her undergraduate degree at UW-La Crosse and completed her DVM at University of Wisconsin Madison-School of Veterinary Medicine in 2013. Sarah worked as a bovine relief veterinarian for five months following graduation and then spent the next three years working as a mixed animal veterinarian, predominantly bovine, in Birnamwood, WI. Her interest in complementary therapies for companion animals fueled her transition to small animal veterinary work, and she joined CountrySide in August 2016. Dr. Sarah was certified in Medical Acupuncture for Veterinarians in all species of animals in October 2014. In December of 2017, Dr. Sarah was certified in VSMT for all species of animals as well. She is very excited to be able to offer this therapy at our clinic, and she looks forward to introducing other complementary therapies in the future.
Sarah owns a dairy farm, with her husband Dan, in De Pere, WI where she is able to maintain her bovine veterinary skills. She loves giving tours of her farm as it was one of the first in the state to have a robotic milking system, and guests are always intrigued! Her pets include horses, goats, roosters, cats, and sugar gliders.
