Dr. Jennifer Wellens grew up in the small town of Little Suamico in northeast Wisconsin. She received her bachelor degrees in Human Biology and Animal Biology from the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay in 2011. She went on to receive her doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from the University of Wisconsin School of Veterinary Medicine in 2015.
She enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine, with particular interest in ultrasound and dermatology. She loves educating and building relationships with clients, so they have the knowledge and tools to make the best health decisions for their pets.
In her free time, Dr. Wellens enjoys anything involving the outdoors, including traveling, hiking, fishing and hunting, along with cooking and baking. She is also a diehard fan of the Green Bay Packers and Wisconsin Badgers.
After 10 years of living in southern Wisconsin, she and her husband are thrilled to be back home near family and friends. She is looking forward to meeting and working with all the incredible clients at CountrySide Veterinary Services.
