Puppy Veterinary Services
Since 1981, the veterinarians at CountrySide Veterinary Services have proudly served new dog owners living in the Appleton, WI area. We are committed to the health of your puppy from a very young age as they mature into a full-grown dog. During the first 16 weeks of your puppy’s life, we recommend scheduling a physical examination along with any necessary vaccinations. (The exact age differs depending on a number of factors, including the breed.) We also recommend bringing your puppy in as soon as possible so that they become acquainted with our staff. This helps to make future visits easier for both you and your puppy.

Spaying & Neutering Procedures
During your puppy’s initial veterinary checkup, we will discuss the appropriate age to bring them in to be spayed or neutered. The timing of the procedure has to do with the current age of your puppy, and the size, gender, and breed. Our staff will discuss any questions or concerns you may have regarding your puppy’s spaying or neutering procedure.
We also provide puppy vaccinations to help prevent common canine illnesses. Our staff will discuss with you which vaccinations your puppy needs, and then which ones are important, but optional. Some of the most common puppy vaccinations and booster shots will help to prevent common diseases like:
- Bordetella Bronchiseptica
- Canine Distemper
- Canine Hepatitis
- Canine Parainfluenza
- Canine Coronavirus
- Kennel Cough
- Lyme Disease
